Ariana Grande just announced her 8th studio album, Petal, to be released on July 31. As the girlies on r/popheads would say: THIS IS A POP EMERGENCY!!!!

I am so excited! I have no shame in being an Ariana apologist, her problematic love life notwithstanding. Her albums have given me so much joy, comfort, and clarity over the years. There's too much of my history intertwined with her discography. Her last album, Eternal Sunshine, I enjoyed tremendously, but something about the upcoming album cover makes me feel like I'll love this one even more.
